Kalawesi-Nerridera

This city in the Feywild is home to Iarwenys and her blood hunter order, who have the prime responsibility for keeping the city safe.  The fundamental geography of the city -- an island in the middle of a river -- suggest that it may be the Feywild's counterpart of Benimora, capital city of the kingdom of Astana.   The city is home to a thriving marketplace where one can obtain anything from exotic clothing to rare books to hand-crafted musical instruments.  It also hosts an airshow as part of annual Winter Solstice celebrations.   The Court of the city is presently headed by Nazike, the Crystal of Knowledge.  Nazike and the rest of the Court fell into disinterest and apathy as the rogue blood hunter Meiron took over the order charged with protecting the city, and very nearly allowed Meiron to hand the city over to the violent, demon-worshipping archfey Arteagagarey.   Nazike and one other of the Court had enough presence of mind to understand just how close they came to losing everything, and when Meiron was defeated, Nazike dismissed most of the Court and had them replaced.
