The Great Desert

A vast, rolling expanse of golden dunes and sun-scorched mesas, the Great Desert is the beating heart of the United Cities. It is a land of extreme wealth and extreme suffering, where merchant caravans and slave columns march side by side beneath an unforgiving sun. Cities rise like mirages from the sand, bastions of opulence ruled by noble families who feast while the desperate toil. Bandits and mercenaries prowl the shifting dunes, preying on the weak, while dust storms swallow entire caravans without a trace. Yet, for all its cruelty, the Great Desert remains the Empire’s lifeblood.
