The Eye
The Eye is a cursed desert hollow where sandstorms coil endlessly around a colossal fallen star-metal structure, known only as “the Wreck.” No one remembers its true origin, only that the storms never stray beyond its circular bounds, as though bound to the ruin itself. In its shadow clings a small, lawless town of scavengers and outcasts, its shacks and walkways nailed into the alien frame for shelter against the choking winds. Life here is meager, with little to be found in the dunes but bones, salvage, and the ever-hunting Sandskimmers, yet the people endure, bound as tightly to the Wreck as the storms that never leave it.
