Cagebeast

Cagebeasts are hulking, domesticated pack animals not found in the wilds of Kenshi. Genetically engineered through generations of forced mutation and selective breeding by United Cities beastmasters, these creatures are the grim result of merging the endurance of Garru with the brute mass and jaw structure of Gutters. The result is a creature with unmatched stamina, an unshakable temperament, and a skeletal structure built to haul iron cages, merchant crates, or entire prefab outposts. Their name comes from the reinforced slave cages that are bolted directly to their spines, a common sight in Traders Guild convoys, where these beasts form the backbone of mobile slave transports, prison camps, and even battlefield scavenging units.
