Ashlands
Once the gleaming capital of the Second Empire, the Ashlands now lie buried beneath soot and silence. Towering ruins of ancient forges and machines loom over a cracked black earth, their grandeur long since warped by centuries of fallout, decay, and abandonment. At the region’s shattered heart sits Cat-Lon's Exile, a hollow throne where the mad Skeleton warlord Cat-Lon still broods, surrounded by the rusting remnants of a fallen age. The Ashlands were the Empire’s crown, a region of impossible industry, brilliant minds, and godlike ambition. Now, it is a haunted wasteland, patrolled by deranged Skeletons and stalked by the machines of a bygone era. Radiation clings to the bones of the land, and storms of ash still roll from unseen vents deep below.
