Personal history
Born in Magtria Villa Fjorvarr had an average childhood working at the blacksmith with his father, and was able to build up his strength by hammering steel. His brother Einach entered the guard, and trained Fjorvarr in the art of combat.
When House Taloran fell, Einach was one of the guards that never made it out of the manor. Fjorvarr swore to take his place in the guard, but tragedy struck. A thief set fire to their shop and home, and Fjorvarr was the only survivor. The only things he was able to salvage were a set of armor he was working on and the family warhammer, a 500lb behemoth known as the Arkona. It dates back through the family for centuries, and is rumored to be a Guardian artifact.
Fjorvarr hunted down and killed the man responsible, as well as his entire organization, and was sent to prison for murder, preventing him from ever entering the guard. Or so he claims...
Since childhood Fjorvarr has heard whispers in his dreams, echoes of a voice not his own. Almost without realizing Fjorvarr began following the guidance of this voice, which spoke of honor and glory, of death and violence, and of power unimaginable. Calling itself Melrath the spirit guided Fjorvarr into uncovering arcane knowledge and imprinting in his mind long forgotten arts of forbidden witchcraft. Soul forges, blood iron, bone steel, the processes needed to forge a magic weapon, a conduit for the spirit itself. By it’s will and Fjorvarr’s hand was Arkona formed, and with the sealing of the ritual the spirit bound to the weapon forming what the spirit referred to as the Endbringer. Bound to the weapon the spirit now guides Fjorvarr’s purpose through visions and nightmares. It has shown him the truth of the world, compassion and kindness are mere weaknesses, justice can only come from those strong enough to mete out the punishments. The world needs to be tested, the weak culled and the strong once more led into perpetual battle so they may die a true warrior’s death. Deep in the Greenpine forest stands the path to humanity’s salvation, if only one were brave enough to make the journey.
And so, spurred on by the spirit now housed with in the Arkona Fjorvarr sets out to spread Melrath's judgment.
