Elemental
If a Nymph chooses to pass the life force it collects on to its surrounding environment it will eventually become a conduit for magical power, it’s physical form degrades as its being is overridden by elemental magic. Elementals are the closest to godhood that can be found upon the mortal world, pure agents of their respective elements wielding unfathomable power.
Gods are said to fear the Elementals as they represent a path to godhood forbidden to the lesser beings, though many elemental and nature gods still employ the service of Elementals as agents of their will in the mortal world.
