Dwaghúm, god of Dwarves and Memory

Dwaghúm is the god of the Dwarves and is considered the wisest and most patient of the gods despite his progeny being known for their stubbornness rather than patient wisdom. He created the dwarves to refine the rough materials of the world into fine works of art, however the innate love for fine materials and especially fine craftsmanship in dwarves eventually morphed into greed. Now Dwaghúm gives his people ancestral memory and his clerics divine wisdom in an attempt to keep them for forsaking wisdom in favor of material wealth. Many dwarves have met their doom by digging too deep and into the underdark, some made too many enemies to hold off, but those that survive to this day have Dwaghúm to thank.

Divine Domains

Dwaghúm's primary concern is with his creation, the Dwarves. As such he is far more prone to answer the prayers of Dwarves and it is he that sustains their long lives. In addition to this Dwaghúm also presides over memory. This is most noticable in the dwarves who have an ancestral memory that allows them to recall their ancestors memories as certain situations as they come up. For example, when a Coast Dwarf looks upon the mountains he recalls the darkness of the caverns despite never having been inside them. This extends to muscle memory as well, hence why many dwarves have a natural nack for crafting things.  Although Dwaghúm cares about the dwarves the most, the powers of memory which he creates for his dwarves spills out into the realm of The Energies and affects other creatures nonetheless. Every time a human feels muscle memory take over their harp playing, every time an elf gets an uncanny sense of deja-vu, every time memory becomes so vivid that it feels as if one is right there, that is Dwaghúm's doing.
