Sorcerer: Pyromancer
Although this Sorcerous Origin was created for MTG, it is not tied to a specific setting or story, meaning its flavor is open to any setting and story. Regardless, ask your DM before using it.
Level 3: Heart of Fire
- Fiery magic erupts from you whenever you cast spells that deal fire damage.
- When you start casting a spell of 1st level or higher that deals fire damage, creatures of your choice within 10 feet take fire damage equal to half your sorcerer level (minimum 1).
Level 6: Fire in the Veins
- You gain enhanced resistance and spellcasting benefits related to fire.
- You gain resistance to fire damage.
- Spells you cast ignore resistance to fire damage.
Level 14: Pyromancer's Fury
- You retaliate against melee attackers with searing flames.
- When hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to deal fire damage equal to your sorcerer level to the attacker.
- This damage ignores resistance to fire damage.
Level 18: Fiery Soul
- Your connection to fire magic becomes absolute.
- You gain immunity to fire damage.
- Any spell or effect you create ignores resistance to fire damage and treats immunity to fire damage as resistance instead.
