Downtime with Avrae and D&D Beyond

This system allows players to manage crafting remotely using chat commands linked to their D&D Beyond character sheets via the Avari bot. It enables tracking and adjusting crafting skills, assigning tools, and performing weekly crafting tasks outside of in-game sessions.

Setup Commands

  • !beyond <ddb link> (Links your ddb character sheet to the server)
  • !char (Shows your active character)
  • !char <Character Name> (Changes active character to the Character Name given)
  • !update (Updates the character sheet to match the latest version on ddb)

Crafting Commands

  • !craftinglevel (Shows your current crafting level)
  • !level_up_crafting (Level up crafting)
  • !level_down_crafting (Level down crafting)
  • !crafttest <tool> <spell> (Does the crafting for that week (edited))

Job Commands

  • !base_job_crafting_level (Shows your current base job level)
  • !show_crafting_base_job (Shows the current tools set as base job tool)
  • !set_crafting_job <tool> (Sets the tool as your base job tool)
  • !delete_crafting_job (Removes the tool from your base job tool)
  • !level_up_base_job_crafting (Level up base job)
  • !level_down_base_job_crafting (Level down base job)

Example Usage

To perform a crafting task using tools and a spell, use one of the following commands:
Use smithing tools with the spell "g" (Guidance):[!crafttest smith g]
Use smithing tools with the spell "e" (Enhance Ability):[!crafttest smith e]
Use smithing tools for regular crafting:[!crafttest smith]
Each command triggers the crafting process for the week with the specified parameters, updating your character's crafting progress accordingly.
