Sabakuho
Sabakuho are the second more dangerous predators in the Harami desert. They are large creatures that live in packs of around 10 specimens and their system doesn’t separate males from females. All of them hunt and do all the activities.
This creatures are very stealthy and don’t make noise when approaching their preys, which is impressive given their average size. And though they have to drink, they also filter water from the air and store it in special organs they have on top of their neck and back.
These animals have tentacles below their chest and at the sides of their mouths to help them grab their preys and eat. They don’t have eyes and they rely mostly on smell and hearing.
Sabakuho are hunted by Sōya. They are much slower than the latter, so in a face to face encounter, they can’t do much. However, as Sabakuho hunt together and Sōya leaves only the females to it, they usually sacrifice one of the pack to get the Sōya to eat it and leave as quickly as possible.
