Ares, also known as Ares Sogúrë or Thraaket Sogúrë, is the god of war and armed conflict in the world of Kálit. He is the son/vassal of the divine Thraaket the Mighty.
Various cultures throughout the world depict him in stories and artworks as a singular great bear or jackal, or as a pack of ravenous gray wolves.
Ares is the rival of the goddess of peace, Athena.
