Morgal

Skin often develops a thin layer of fuzz/fur, and ears gain a touch of motility, eyes are lightly luminescent, and oftentimes stark white or nearly black.   Taking on a touch more of an animalistic appearance than most of their Ilsiri cousins, the Morgal come from the underground environments of the many tunnels, vaults, and systems beneath the surface of Kalio. They have a fuzzy layer of blackish-purple fur that often coats their skin, along with yellowish eyes that give them a vaguely batlike appearance. Their ears are often both curved and very motile, allowing for them to often judge distances in the dark, not just with their eyes, but with a lower grade echolocation, that supplements their need to see in the darkness of the underground. They often will fade into the darkness, without a trace, and finding yourself in their territory where you’re unwanted, only leads to a dangerous encounter where attacks seem to come from nowhere in the darkness.
