Constantly Changing Skin and Hair Tones, based on the local season.. See below for more.
Hadori is a special term that the Ilsiri use, to talk about the rare Ilsiri who do not stabilize into a core format. Translated literally, it stands for “The Wandering Clouds” and the Hadori often form communities out East in Osoneth, where the winds let them wander the way they want, or wherever they can wander. While Hadori do have some conscious control over which of the seasons their body takes after, as they are in constant flux, most of them seem to lack a steady appearance, often bouncing between one of four.
Hadori are often a bit thicker than other Ilsiri, with wavier hair, and their thicker bodies allowing them to survive their windy disposition more often. When they are in a Spring Form, their hair often straightens out, seemingly slick and wet from the spring rains, with colors of grey, green, and blossoms often mixing among their complexion. When they transition to summer, most of their body seemingly firm up, and their hair becomes frizzy and fluffy, as they emulate the heat and intensity of summer months, along with the tall towering clouds of the season. Their colors dry out towards more golds and pastels, as they become more like the summer sun. With the Fall, they usually put on a bit more of their weight, as they feel the harvest of the season, and feel the celebrations of life across the world. But as winter comes to them, they become thinner and more severe, however, their dispositions can be explained by the matter of sleet with blizzards… or the soft snowfall of new snow. Sometimes A Hadori in the clutches of winter is the meanest person you could cross paths with, hair iced back, thin, austere and angry, while sometimes, they’re playful and fun, like a child wanting to make a snowman.
As their kind is constantly in flux, it is often a common Hadori tradition, to carry elaborate tattoos that carry their story and their identity, which do not change as they do, due to techniques handed down from tattoo artist to tattoo artist, meaning that even if you meet a Hadori in Summer, you have a chance to recognize them in Winter, based on what you know of them.
