The Dragoons lead a force to resuce their leader from the Syndicate

Deep in the slums of Doomsayers Keep, Ravin shifted uncomfortably in a worn chair. It was Null that had brought him here after arranging a meeting with an individual known by many to move in shady circles. For the last ½ hour Ravin had listened to this individual talk a lot but say very little, Ravin could feel his agitation growing. “Nartsy business this ostage takin I say” Jarvis remarked finally getting at least somewhere near the point “Me dear old Pa was taken ostage once…… come to think of it that’s just what he told dear ole Ma…… More likely he was just on a week long bender come to think of it. Cheeky bugger” “Perhaps we can discuss the matter at hand” Null chimed in calmly sensing the rising frustration growing inside of Ravin “Ah yes. My apologies. I do tend to get carried away with me tales at times” Jarvis replied before turning to face Ravin directly “Now, my new friend Null ere told me that you lot believe this Mikhail fella is eld in Schunenburg, so I did a bit of digging to see if I can elp you with yer little dilemma. Turns out I know a guy ooh knows a guy and he told me that they’re lookin at beefin up security in a fort in that area. Just for the menial stuff mind you. You know, man the gates, keep undesirable types out and such. As it appens, my associate tells me there is already a fair share of serious individuals already inside those walls for the more serious matters. Turns out, that for the right amount of coin, my associate can deliver upon your good selves the complete Jaibreak package. Ya know, disguises, forged papers, arranging for a suitably lenient border guard to wave you through in exchange for some coin crossing is palm and then finally getting a small group of people of your choosin to form part of this new recruit detail. From there it’s all up to you my friend. Now because I like ya, I did talk im down to a very reasonable price, plus, of course, a small and more than fair finders fee to compensate me for my considerable efforts. Finally, it goes without sayin, this conversation never appended. If you lot arse it up I don’t want no angry Geldheimers at me door. Bad fer business ya see” Ravin reached into his pouch a produced a coin bag tossing it onto the table. “I trust this will be enough” Ravin said, with an edge of impatience in his voice. Jarvis picked up the coin pouch surveying it’s weight “Ah yes, that’ll do nicely”   The Dragoons were successful in their attempt to break out their leader. Defeating the defenders and finding Mikhail, they were able to free Mikhail and get him to safety before their opponents could regroup to prevent his escape.   Resting in a wagon as they traveled back to the safety of Hadovean land Mikhail, felt him self dozing. He would fight it for a while for the sake of appearance, but he knew before long his need to rest would win out over his pride. It had been over a month since his capture. The Ironguard, to their credit, had been firm but fair jailers. None the less Mikhail was relived to be once again a free soldier of Hadovean army. Grateful that so many would risk all to break him out. As was his way his mind began moving onto tactics. What had he missed during his imprisonment? Where is the next Hadovean advance planned? Who where these new houses that appeared on the battlefield? As more and more questions circled though his brain thankfully his need to rest won out and Mikhail slipped into much needed sleep.
