More to research but Hadovean Victory

The fighting had been bloody, and its outcome devastating for the Kingdom. Thier forces loosing heavily and forced to retreat back to Wydowr Poddle. The Hadovean involvement was at the behest of the Duke of Moridale, which at the time was only a small Duchy around the city of Moridale. This point in time is widely beleived to be moment the now Duke of Moridale commenced his plan to expand his power and authority over Moridale and the neighourby duchies and baronies. Underprepared, the Kingdom was unable to penetrate the hastily put-together defences of the local baronies, and Imperial support had arrived nonetheless, resulting in a reserval of the Kingdom advance.
