Makaalgor
Makaal Deathadder a previously obscure Orc Shaman rose to power in the Erayax Hierarchy after delving into the "darker" arts of a most secretive, yet powerfully manipulative nature sometime in 705 AE.
He cements his position over five years forming an immense warband of predominantly Orc and Goblins.
It was not significant at this time what would come as an unintended consequence of Makaal's rise to dominance.
During his rule, an island to the north was suppressed, or claimed to be. In truth, the warriors of that island were in awe of Makaal's powers, all in connection to the darker arts. They showed no fear in the face of some of Makaal's more fear inducing recruits. Whether they submitted to his rule by choice or by force, he cared little.
They were unnaturally large humans, as a general rule - there were the "normal" as the Orcs called them ones among them - but all were fearsome. Despite their ranking as slave soldiers - they stood up in battle and were almost always the force to be reckoned with in the field. Regardless of whom or what they faced.

Predominantly an Erayax dialect.
Culture and cultural heritage
The Makaalgor live for war, as is much of the Erayax culture. There is some kind of a war going on almost all of the time somewhere in the Domain of Tamarax. The Makaalgor refuse to think of the northern lands of Ashnoor in any other terms.
Domain of Tamarax
A militaristic culture with a monarchy that is contested for succession by individual combat.

Shared customary codes and values
Whilst the Makaalgor do not deny the experiences of fear, they pride themselves on their shared view of responding regardless, or, as others perceive it, fearlessness.
It is said that if a Makaalgor is running chasing them will be to your doom.

Typically the Makaalgor wear hats. Your rank, or position is signalled by your hat variously.
They type of hat firstly, then certain specific adornments, they way the hat is worn, how it is tilted, etc
A simple system that, as a rule, outsiders completely fail to notice.

Art & Architecture
The Makaalgor's collection of art and their architecture date back to long before they had a name. Initially, they're not naturally city dwellers, the layout of their towns or villagers is, as a general rule, practical and well structured both for daily enterprises and simply getting around to also potential for growth and development.

Foods & Cuisine
Whilst it would be unfair to suggest they introduced cooking to the predominantly Orc and Goblin population they were associated with, it would be also reasonable to observe the mostly bland nature of Orc and Goblin cuisine. Barring few exceptions of course.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
The most well known custom is succession by combat when a monarch dies, predominantly at any rate. At times, individual challenges during current rule have had a similar outcome, that is to say, a king or queen is replaced by heroic combat.
Historical figures
Margul a formidable warrior rose to supreme dominance by becoming Lord Chieftain of the Erayax in 940 AE.
Also of note - Beastmaster Korlag, who, it is held, tamed and rode into battle a woag he had raised from close to birth. A legend even known among Orcs.
The first human ever to do so. More over he survived.
It is known that two other nameless Makaalgor rode woags - they are a footnote in Erayax history for becoming woag shit, ironically, in the waste lands...
