Balthewford Monastery
Hidden in the mountains north of the Knife. It is said the Monastery lies in the east west running mountain range, it's true location long ago lost to time.
Along with it's location - the Monastery's fate is also unknown. The Erayax make no mention of it in their histories, this could be for one (or more) of a few reasons.
It could be an effort to erase all record of them from history, they may have neither known of, nor stumbled upon the Monastery - the least likely, of course, the humble monastery proved too much for them, embarrassingly so, thus they're erasing all record. It is unlikely to be so. Either of the first two options could be possible though.

History
Little was really known of the Monastery before the succession wars, arguably, it was Beren, the Keeper of the Alma Acquiesce for its perilous journey south who shed some small light on the monastery's existence. He was, a self described, mid level monk in the order.
Beren was the last known monk to come from the Balthewford Monastery since the Erayax take over.
