The Heights
Strange things happen in the Heights, always have, always will. It is where old things go to hide, where fairy lords go to play, and where the dead wake once more. It is also a land of many lost treasures, but one should only go if desperate or if you have no sense of self-preservation.
The Heights was once home to the mighty Titans, those gods among mortals, and their beautiful monuments and cities of which there are only now ruins left off. The Emperor was nothing if not systematic in eradicating his enemies, even the memory of them, though there are those who say that the last Titan can still be found somewhere up there. Though the Titans are dead, the giants still call this place home, and though they never managed to truly make anything unified again, they still have some cities in the peaks and depths alike.
There are also plenty of ruins in these lands, tombs left undisturbed and unplundered, as well as pieces of history, plucked out and buried in the desolate waste of the cold desert. The only ones who truly know much of these treasures left unfound are the goliaths and firbolg, who have accumulated to the environment of the Heights and are the only humanoids who can truly survive up there, living their nomadic lifestyles.
Geography
A cold desert, the Heights are little more than expanses of dirt that cannot be plowed and freezing winds. It is also rather high up from sea level given it a slighter thinner atmosphere with some plenty of mountains should one wish to go even higher.
Localized Phenomena
One of the most interesting phenomena of the Heights is its incredibly thin borders with the other planes of existence. This has resulted in fey entering into the materiel plane and having their fun with mortals and sometimes even taking them back with them.
