Vord leaned over his brother's seat in the motor buggy to wave at Zehi and Merl, hoping to coax them into a ride. He also did it to get on his brother's nerves, of course. It was his duty as the younger of the two to make his elder question the wisdom of bringing him along at any given moment.   Besides, the more annoyed Advan was before they went out, the more likely he was to get into a fight about half way through their outing. He enjoyed nothing more than watching a good fight, as long as he wasn't the one getting his ass handed to him.   Advan elbowed him in the ribs and pushed him back down into his seat, snapping his wings in annoyance. Vord grinned to himself as he was scolded about being a nuisance.

Advan knew exactly what Vord was up to, and hated the fact that it was working. His younger was usually easy to get along with, right up until the moment they were about to head out with friends. Then he became the most annoying little shit.
Especially when Zehi was that friend. If he wanted to hook up with the fop so badly he should just do it already and stop making it everyone else's problem.

Merl sighed inwardly as she opened the door for Zehi. He was busy making sure to put his hat on in the most showy manner possible, now that he knew the brothers where looking his direction.
He'd been practicing the move in the mirror all week.   "We are all very impressed, Sir." She couldn't help but say when he almost tripped in his attempt. He caught himself and tried to play it off as intentional. He wasn't fooling anyone.
The two benuov already in the vehicle chuckled and gave him a round of sympathetic applause.   "Well done Zehi, perhaps you will make ring master some day." Advan teased, rather ruthlessly. Seems he was already is a mood this morning.
Zehi puffed up and spun his cane around to rap Advan on the head with it. Advan was not a good sport though, and caught it first, tugging it from his grip and tossing i into the back seat.   "Well, I never." He harumped and sat himself in he buggy, picking up his cane indignantly as Merl shut his door for him.   He would have gone for her rump as she turned away, but his mother was watching them from her roost on the balcony, and he'd already gotten a talking to about public displays of debauchery with the lower classes this morning.   He waited until Merl had gotten in and sat down next to him to reach over that grab her tail, setting it in his lap. Yes the buggy was a convertible, yes mother could likely still see him.. but this was about as subtle as he could manage.
"You'll have him back for dinner." Emma informed them sternly from the balcony.   Adavn and Vord exchanged glances before looking to the back seat.   "What did you do this time?" Vord asked, excited to hear the details.   "Yes Ma'am, with bells on." Advan replied. That really put a dampner on the night's plans, but better to stay in her good graces than otherwise.

"Oh, you know. Just mother being mother." Zehi skirted around answering.   "I thought you were our chaperone, not the other way around." Adavn teased as he started the buggy back up and navigated it away from the Edwardc manner.   "Ha, indeed I am. So you had better do as I say." Zehi beamed, happy to have the illusion of power in their dynamic.   "Oh? And what does our chaperone have in mind, hrm?" Ady asked, fine letting Zehi think he was in control for now.   And all the bother for it too, Vord would have paid good favor to see the two duke it out. Just once. A little fisticuffs for the road. Maybe if he played his cards right he could make it happen.   "Lets get a drink!" Vord cheered, "Want to start the day right."   "He learns so quickly... Boy after my own heart." Zehi sniffled like a proud parent.   "We are not going to Lordtown today. Out of the question." Adavn snapped, quick to regain his authority now that there was cause for it.
