Bearl Zmall

Bearl is in good physical condition, and often spends time working on her flexability and strenght. She's been learning Zoendol spearmanship on and off whenever someone will teach her.

She's fairly skilled at spotting those in need, and noticing when the Lordtown Entertainment Guild is making moves in Ciarn.

She's always dressed in traditional Zoendol attire, something that most people find off-putting, to say the least.

Childhood

Bearl's parents worked in a gambling hall ran by the Chwan Syndicate in Lordtown. Amelia was the head chef, and Hazzie was a prodigy at one of the more popular games, so ran the tabled for that game.
Bearl learned the trade's of both, but neither really stuck with her. It wasn't until she saw a jewel smuggled in from the ocean's of Jaumun that she finally understood passion the way her parents did for their crafts.

Early Adulthood

Bearl was turned down for many jewelry apprenticeships in Lord, as most of the jewlers worked under a family that was at odds with the one her family worked under. Determined, she took a trip to Ciarn to learn about jewels from their source. While there she learned about Zoendol culture and became completely enamored. She learned a lot about their culture, history, and crafting methods in the month she was there.
It never felt like enough though, and she always yearned to return.

Falling Out

Unfortunately she would get her chance under unpleasant circumstances. When she was in her later 20's the Chwan Syndicate turned on her family after Hazzie lost a high stakes match to a young upstart group from Ciwn. At first they just kicked Hazzie out, the they started treating Bearl and Amelia coldly, insisting they cut ties with her. Then one day Hazzie vanished, and Amelia feared they wouldn't be far behind.
They tried to escape to Bhcu Cuhcil, but the public transit was being watched. Amelia vanished not long after they arrived and Bearl knew she would be next. Determined not to fall victim to petty syndicat bullshit, Bearl made her way to Vullavual Laud and got herself smuggled to the Vida Colony and from there made it back to Ciarn.

Ciarn

Her original plan was to then head to the Coldol Empire, but decided to stay in Ciarn, having found her calling.
To help others escaping the same fate as her.
Using the skills she learned from her parents, Bearl gambled and worked her way from the Border District to the East District over the course of a eight years. She opened her own cafe helped anyone she could. Her cafe slowly became a safe haven for not only Ovie escaping Vondren, but also Zoendol staying in Ciarn.

Cozy Village

Unlike other places, Ciarn had a whole other layer to it that she could create a haven in, but Bearl was not very skilled in the ways of The Source. She tried to spread the word and get other on board to what hse was trying to do, but nothing really came of it until she was approached by ArchAcid, a popular cyber world creator, who offered to make the place of her dreams.
They worked together to fashion it after the Coldol Islands Bearl adored so much. It's still a beacon hope and comfort for Zoendol in Ciarn to this day.
2A never explained why she'd decided to help, and Bearl decided to leave it be.

Now

Bearl still runs her cafe, the Cozy Village, and a few safe houses for Ovie, she is always busy with something, but never fails to make time for those who need her.

Bearl sees sex as a extension of hospitality and will offer it as a comfort to any who seek it. While she does come off rather flirty, she otherwise isn't particularly needing in that department.

Bearl apprenticed under Amelia Zmall as a baker, and Hazzie Richei as a [game need a name] player.

Bearl currently works at a little cafe in Ciarn's East District.
She also often uses her personal dwelling and cafe as safehouses for those escaping Lordtown syndicates.

Having her family disappeared for petty reasons and fleeing for her life.

Bearl is adamant about her calling to help others escaping the same horrors she has. She will also go to extreme lengths for hospitality, finding that to be the highest form of morality.

Bearl has a habit of being waaaaay to friendly by Traditionalist standards. She's handsy and flirty and way too under clothed.

Bearl has spent most of her life sheltering others from harm, those people will never forget who helped them get a second chance.
