Welcome to Jaalorel (Jah-low-rell)

Jaalorel is a mystical and wondrous cluster of lands located on the Material Plane. Magic flows through all things and in all places, and thus is a integral part of most Jaalorelian societies.
There are three main continents, Otora, Seclos, and Illea:
Otora - Western Continent: Most developed part of the world, comprised of multiple kingdoms and regions. Most trade happens between other countries on this continent. Most governments are Aristocratic Monarchies. Port cities are located mainly within bays, but also lie on barrier islands as well. Airship travel in common to those who own airships or can afford a ride, other methods of travel include horses, mules, camels, domesticated dire elk, Phaegae (Phaega singular; giant martial eagles, rideable sky creatures), and Nomoti (Nomotus singular; large sheep used to pull carriages)
Seclos - Northeastern Continent: Wild and unforgiving, this area is favored by hunters for its variety in game and rare flora in the far east, while merchants and docks are set up on the west to trade the caught game and vegetation to take to Otora. One Druidic Circle claims an Oligarchic government here, spanning the continent. City States within are generally Representative/ Direct Democracies
Illea - Southeastern Continent: Controlled by a Militaristic Totalitarian government, this continent has many criminal underworlds and illicit, hidden ports. As well as the most extensive judicial system in Jaalorel. The government here doesn’t interact much with the outside world other than to trade or take prisoners. However, there is always a question about the happenings of this kingdom, as there is an ominous orange-colored beam emanating from the center of the fortified castle walls.
But we take our focus to the west, and to possibly the most important city in all of Jaalorel, Canbora. Canbora is located towards the north and on the eastern shore, as it is a massive port city and is the main trading and shipping hub for Otora and will be the city the campaign will start in, although the part of the city in which you start will be up to you. It is encouraged to discuss with me what you want or need to have in the world, and especially in Canbora, to make your character fit right in and have the necessary connections to build your character's background.
Farther south is the Loomis Mountain, a single monolith standing in the middle of a grassland, called the Deadstone Expanse, but colloquially known as the Deadstones. More can be found about this are in the article
