What Treasures Lay in the Muck

The Scintillating Lily is a beautiful plant to look upon. Bearing physical similarties to the common Lily, this rare flora bears colours that shift and change. Colours that shift and flow and swirl like oil suspended over water. The flower gives of a faint light that can only be seen in dark conditions.   Two things drive the extremely high price of this plant. One is its itense magical potency. With correct processing, the plant can produce a myriad of magical effects. Secondly, it is only known to grow in one place. An area which was, until very recently, controlled and guarded by a circle of druids.   The Lily comes from the Deepstink Bogs, a region within the Aegarkarf Swamp. The Queendom of Arkenhorn has recently made headway into this region and has set up an encampment around the site where the flower grows, monopolising its cultivation.   Our party are one team employed to fascillitate the cultivation of the plant. Many of those sent there are researchers, some resposible for the cultivation and maintatence of the plant and some sent to uderstand the region. Given the many risks of the region, healers and guards are sent along to prortect the researchers.
