High Grand Magister of the Magisterium Arcanum
The High Grand Magister of the Magisterium Arcanum is the principle Magister at the Magisterium Arcanum. They are responsible for the running of the entire organisation, overseeing the use of Magic in Aegall. The Title is given to a Grand Magister of the eight schools of magic through a ballot that the other Grand Magisters partake in (where they cannot vote for themselves).
Qualifications
To have been a Grand Magister and a High Professor of The Arcane Art of any school
Requirements
To have operated as an agent of the Magisterium in the field for ten years or more, to have displayed one great feat of magic, and to have crafted a spell in the fifth circle of magic.
Appointment
When a High Magister dies, the existing Grand Magisters vote in a blind ballot for the new High Magister (they cannot vote for themselves). Following the election, the new High Magister is corronated in a ceremony at The Citadel where he takes his seat and swears an oath to the Queen of Arkenhorn

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
A unanimous decision from all Grand Magisters for the removal of the current High Grand Magister may be submitted to the Queen of Arkenhorn who must then agree to remove the High Grand Magister. Such an event has not happened in the History of the Magisterium Arcanum
