The Many and the None

The Many and None

Divine Domains

The Many created the world and gave it the primordial building blocks of life: water, light, and earth. From those elements, life flourished. As life multiplied, the None took what could be spared, making summer and winter the times of life and death respectively.   The Many and None's presence can be felt all over the world to those who would listen and wait for it.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The Many and None is often depicted in statues as an androgynous, two-faced god.

Tenets of Faith

The Church of the Many and the None preach temperance and balance, citing the god's own dual nature. The Church believes that the Many and None can act through people, and should someone heed the god's call, they can be further guided through their faith. However, the Church also preaches the importance of action with prayer, and that anyone can hear the Many and the None's call, but they must act on it to see the change they want.   On the subject of mortality, the Church believes that birth and death are forever intertwined. Death must be accepted as a part of life and vice versa, as the Many and None are individually two halves of a whole. It's believed within the Church that the dead reach their "reward" in the afterlife based on the balance of their actions in life. It's also believed that as one dies, another is born.
