Article Update Challenge

As I approach my 6th WAnniversary and Isekai's birthday, it is finally time to start looking at some of the articles I created during Summer Camp 2019 and bringing them into the current age. While this has been on my to-do list for a long time, the May-Be Challenge created by Tillerz is a perfect opportunity to revisit the old and make them as good as the new.   Some of these revamps are going to be huge overhauls where little remains of the original article while others are going to be formatting updates and the like. I will try to make notes of what changed on each article, but some of these have been updated multiple times throughout the years and are only now finally seeing their true final forms.

Amaratharr Valley

  This article required a nearly complete rewrite to match current standards in Isekai. This was the first article I wrote during Summer Camp 2019, and my expectations for articles have changed quite a bit. The standard for Geography articles was established during Summer Camp 2024, meaning a lot of older articles like this one needed format updates.

On the edge of two civilizations stands the lush green forest of the Amaratharr Valley. Here the sea of Aelinor Oaks that the Elven Forest is known for begins, allowing adventurers & travelers to whet their curiosity before plunging them into the depths.

  Aelinor Oaks had a lot of the content in it that I've been putting into current Species articles but it lacked a lot of the formatting that has dominated my Species articles for awhile now. The goal here was to bring the article in line with current standards and maybe add a bit more information to flesh out the sections that seemed to be lacking.

Aelinor Oaks are magnificent trees that grow hundreds of feet tall over the span of their centuries long lifespan. The magic within these trees makes them a specialty of the fey, grown through the magic of those of fey blood.
