UNW and Greystar operatives assault the Brotherhood fortress.

Anger bubbled over in the United Nation of Worlds council at the news of one of the beloved notables meeting his fate.    An assault was quickly planned against the Brotherhood, and many Greystar Confederation personalities also contributed to the battle directly, as the Brotherhood was a threat to them too- and many had come to like the now departed First-Warden.   At Savita, the Brotherhood had found a way to conceal their base amid the planet swarming with a strain of the violent Underhill - and it was later found that Knight-Commander Dagget had even found a way to psionically control the weaker forms.   A mech team under Hailey Clements and House Draconis led the underhill distraction effort, their iron forms killing dozens with every swing of their weapons, and every shot of their mighty guns.   Assaulting the fort itself, the insertion team at the gate found themselves in a bad way almost as soon as the operation commenced. The ground based sunshine field activated suddenly, shooting down virtually all the troop landing craft. Picking themselves from the wreckage, Director Kensh, Agent Eastmarch, Director Guerra, and Eisheru Tidecaller found themselves under constant wave attacks from genegenered fanatics streaming from the gatehouse.   It was only after calling in a danger close air strike that the gatehouse was split asunder, and they were able to advance into the fort, rescuing former CIS chief Marcion Delgato, his family, some Ad-Astra Companies personnel taken from a pirate attack and five captured Rigers Corps of Engineers engineers from a previous raid on Musheera.   During this, a special sunblade infiltration team of Deckard Cain and Calidorious Odenburg found their way into the fort, and fought the man/machine psymech hybrid that was now Knight Commander Dagget. Deckard lost his life in the battle, stabbed through by the mech's large MES knife, but the opening was enough for Calidorious to make the final blow.   With their leadership gone, the Brotherhood fleet at system edge melted into the galactic background and as of yet, have not re-emerged.
