UNW Capital Station

The UNW Capital Station was constructed over the recovered remains of three space stations. The idea to make a mobile capital was conceived by the first ever Unity Council as a way to ensure no single United Nations of Worlds planet had preponderance over any others.   One of its three connected stations is an administration center, constructed purposefully for the occasion. The second is a refitted Imago Dei shipyard, the only such known location capable of building and maintaining that advanced class of vessel. The third is a powerful defense platform, bristling with weaponry , and armored enough to ensure the UNW leadership has a safe place to bunker in the event of an attack.   Ironically, the fiercest debate of the project was not the cost, or resources spent to build it but rather the names of the three stations themselves. The matter is still sometimes reviewed in UNW meetings.
