  Tsatsos is a burning world, not due to the system star's proximity but due to a massive tectonic shift early in its history. Gouts of mineral rich super heated magma frequently bubble over onto the ever shifting surface of the world. Plates of ultrahard rock , some the size of large cities, float through this endless magma sea, being devoured occasionally and rising again as the magma tides shift and flow.   Rigers Corps of Engineers has settled this planet. Humans and Ashen Ones work hand in hand to keep the lava forges working.   Most of the ruins on the planet have not yet been explored. The wildlife on Tsatsos is extremely hostile, and any expedition made into the wilds is more military operation than journey of discovery.   The surface of the planet is tectonic active, and without the calming influence of the space stations pretech telekinetic array, and the newly discovered stabilizing electromagnet pylons on the crust itself, the continents would regularly rise and fall in the lava sea.   In early 2669 Rigers Corps of Engineers decided to cease international operations as a recognized UNW Faction, as Governor Rigers retired from the international spotlight to focus more on his duties as governor.
