Lava Wurm
Rock and Mineral eaters
These massive beasts burrow beneath the lava and rock of many lava planets and digest minerals to use in their armored coat. Traveling in packs of between 2-5, they are extremely aggressive and a full sized male is known to even kill members of its own pod when not enough nourishment can be extracted from digested rock.
