First discovered in January 2670 by Gurk Sampson of the
United Nations of Worlds, the Shalini Shredder is a herbivore that stands at about three to five meters tall.
These species tend to stay within the deep woods of the countryside where vegitation is lush and predators are few. With thick armor on their backs and necks, their only predators seem to be the
Piggen of this world when the occasional hunitng party gets into the deep wood. It is unknown how often these creatures reproduce, but it is done via clutches of eggs that incubate for an unknown period of time.
It is thought that their lifecycles mirror the terran great tortise they have descended from, and currently the only one in captivity exists in the
Gudrun zoo. More information is expected to come through long-term observation.
Further observations have revealed that it has poor peripheral vision, and is not an agile creature. It does have tremendous bite strength with easily enough force behind it to sever the fingers of a careless feeder. This bite power also lets it chew through sticks and other roughage that might be included with its food. It cannot reverse, and chooses to withdraw into its shell if it feels threatened.
