For a brief time, the Piggen had created some surface settlements on the moon, hoping to terraform it, but the harsh conditions there eventually forced them down to the surface.   Ignored by the Taros, and forced to fight both the Underhill and the Helldivers routinely, they developed a fierce warrior tradition emphasizing personal bravery and strength of deeds. The Piggen are a naturally strong species, adapted to handle the physical harshness of any environment. It has been rumored that there are Piggen enclaves in the Iron Sectors, though they are not widespread.   Modern Piggen   The modern Piggen have been in contact with Humans, Taros, and other cultures with a superior level of technology for several years at the time of their recent history. Their relationship with technology is not that of the fearful or willing Luddite, but rather a difficulty simply adapting the existing technology for their own use. It takes them a long time to learn, despite the aid of Prometheus Projects.   Piggen and MES   Piggen were known at one point to have capabilities for some type of power, be it MES, or some other unknown force. A handful of colony citizens have been gifted with insight into the more storied parts of the Piggen's past, and have seen for themselves. Piggen magic users are accepted in society, as are Piggen Psychics- the manifestation of their powers making them more akin to shaman and medicine men in Piggen society.   Shaman Grupp is the most famous Piggen MES user, and has been a jovial representative for his species as he adventures across the universe.
