Tribe Truthhelm
One of the five tribes inhabiting the Oskos wilds. The tribe worshiped Omdros, who is also the founder of the tribe. This tribe is different from other tribes because it gets most of its food from animal husbandry rather than hunting. They mostly take care of cattle. The tribe also established trade relations with the Githia Sultanate. Part of this tribe follows teachings left by their god to the point of reaching enlightenment. These enlightened ones can use limited divine power similar to that of clerics from different religions.
Structure
At the center of the tribe is a clan of the same name, a direct descendant of the founder god. The leader of the tribe is always the first child of the previous leader. The leader is surrounded by a group of advisors from the ranks of the enlightened. The enlightened also advise other groups within the tribe. Namely, the merchant group and the shepherds.
Territories
The tribe controls the eastern part of the wilds. More specifically the area between the edge of the Githia desert and the forest controlled by tribe Caskglade. The tribe also spends some of its time traveling along the eastern bank of the central river all the way to the northern coast. So this area is also often attributed to them even though they do not claim its ownership. The area under their control consists mostly of plains ideal for animal husbandry.
Religion
The tribe holds reverence to all the gods that once ruled the wilds; however, they do not actively worship them. As per the request of the gods, the worship ended at the end of the divine age when the gods left. Same as the other tribes, they attend the festival of remembrance but unlike the other tribes, the Truthhelm contains a group closest to a religious order in the wilds. Following the teachings of their founder, the enlightened possess powers similar to those of clerics and priests of other religions. However, as the teachings were created by Omdros before his ascension and therefore are not the teachings of a god and the enlightened are not considered a religious order.
