Orath
The alien species that brought mecha technology to earth. Resource starved and space fairing the Orath discovered the Patena and opened amicable relations. Via espionage the Orath became aware of special research facilities where the Patena had started developing advance weapons after first contact. The Orath took this as a threat and struck first. they seized the facilities discovering the Daria in the process. They destroyed the facilities, captured the Daria, and escaped with the prototypes. The Patena immediately started their pursuit with their full might.
