Patena

The alien species that engaged the Orath-Earth Alliance in the Orbital War.   They made first contact with the Orath an having been in a state of relative global peace for many generation grew concerened at the arrival of a planet less alien species. Development of new weapon system became the new directive for the enslaved Daria. The creation of these weapons howerever was discovered Orath spies who decided to remove the potential threat by capturing the weapons. The orath stole the prototypes, abducted the Daria and destroy the facilities and record of the new weapon systems, before taking there fleet and fleeing. The Patena started pursuit fearign the patena would return with asignificantly more advance force now that they had the Daria. While their technology was weaker their shear numbers and resources allowed them to muster a massive fleet thought it was supported byt many civilian craft.
