The Ruins
A Crumbling Ruin
This used to be a bustling little farm commune in Naomi's time. After she disappeared it was overtaken by the plague, and only three documented elves made it out. Upon returning to her home, it is now overtaken by the magical nature that surrounds it. Wildflowers overrun the fields and vines and moss climb the remaining stonework. The Mysterious Fey Boy that tricked Naomi showed his face here, but promptly disappeared when things weren't going his way.The Protection of a Goddess
Naomi found an idol figurine of a woman with flowers in her hair and produce around her. This was an idol to The Goddess of Fertility, Leanan Sidhe, Prince of the Harvest, the fey goddess her village worshipped. She remembers her family had one like it, but they didn't worship her like the rest of the commune; rather they didn't speak much of her at all in front of their children.Survivors
Aside from Naomi, three survivors made it out of her village. The reports she found had little information on them, but she uncovers more about them the further along on her journey she gets:- Elaith Quizana - The reports stated she moved back to Iliyanbruen, the Lake of Dreams.
- Calarel Yesven - The reports stated she moved back to Iliyanbruen, the Lake of Dreams, as well.
- Iefyr Keydove - The report only said he incorporated into Feyport, but information at the Nobles' House of Virnai furthers this. In a diary Naomi found was information regarding Iefyr, who had changed his name to 'Ieffyre Virnai' and had done deeds worthy of the title of 'Noble.' He then was the founding member of the original Nobles' Alliance, founding the House of Virnai. There is more information in the diary, but it will take some time for Naomi to read through it all.
“While not every small settlement joined The Grand Fey Port upon its founding, many found jobs or trade there, even setting up shops. One such settlement was a group of mer farmers known for their exquisite produce. When asked how they grew it, they would only say that it was the blessing of the Leanan Sidhe, their Archfey Goddess, that made it taste so good. Unfortunately their goddess did not protect them from the terrible plague that took out a large chunk of the population in the area at the end of the First Chronicle. Now all that remains is the crumbling ruins and farmland overrun by wildlife.”
