Sol System

The Sol system, also referred to as the Solar system, is the home star system of Humanity. And Earth, the human homeworld, holds the seat of power for the United Nations Federation, New Soviet Union, Chinese Protectorate, and Arabic Republic. Sol consists of nine major planets—four rocky inner planets, two gas giants, two ice giants, and one rocky outer planet—along with hundreds of moons, millions of minor bodies, and a vast heliospheric boundary structure. The Sol System remains the political, economic, and cultural central in across human-controlled space.
