Tetra finds his footing (or not) on a new plane of existence and encounters the band of adventurers who would eventually become the Heroes of Baldur's Gate

Lost and Confused in a place very different from the city he's accustomed to, Tetra Silverdew reverts back does what he does best: wander around and look for something to do. But lost is his own thoughts (and entirely unfamiliar with the environment), Tetra fails to notice a tripwire set in the dungeon and falls through a trapdoor into a room rife with combat. Noticing the new creature, a grick breaks away from the thick of the fight and lashes out at Tetra with it's beak. The strike hits, but shocks Tetra back to his senses. Tetra counters with reckless magic, creating a lighting bolt/fireball combo that wipes out the rest of the remaining enemies. The slightly signed party of adventurers attempts to communicate with Tetra, but they're difficult to understand. They finally find some common ground with was Tetra understands to be classical Elvish, though it's still difficult due to Tetra's accent until they begin conversing in Draconic: a language mostly unchanged between the two planes. Tetra explains his situation to them, and though most of his explanation goes over their heads the party of adventurers understands at least one thing; he's lost. So, considering that his magic may yet be useful in the rest of the dungeon, the group helps Tetra find his way out. Afterwards, Tetra stays with the group, helping them complete their quest and allying himself to them as he did his guild on Ravnica, enventually becoming one of the heroes of Baldur's gate.
