Cloak of the Moth Queen

Description

Made of interwoven silk and threads of moonlight. It is as light as air itself, the Cloak of the Moth Queen is lightweight and almost feels as if its not there. Previously mentioned, it shimmers in different colours depending on the hour of the day. Soft pinks in the morning hours, a pale lavender at dusk and deep blues and golds during the night. The fabric itself is quite soft and smells slightly of Nightshade Lily. The various patterns responds to nearby magic and moonlight.

Effect

When dusk comes around, the cloak seems to come alive. From dusk to dawn, the cloak grants the wearer the ability to fly as spectral wings sprout from the back of the cloak. Another feature of the cloak is that it has the ability to let the wearer see any glamour and magicks that they Fae have left. You would also be able to see hidden Faeries and other Fae. Once every time you don the cloak, you may ask for guaidance from the Moth Queen of the Noctilune Court.

Where I Obtained It..

This cloak was first bestowed upon a mortal by the Moth Queen of the Noctilune Court to aid the mortals in protecting the border between the Faewilds and the Waking World. This threshold appears at dusk and continues to dawn. This particular cloak was presumed lost to the void of life during a war that happened centuries ago. It resurfaced draped over a stump deep withing the Elderwood, where the Fae are said to not go. Why they avoid this place, I'm not sure. I also do not enjoy being in the Elderwoods. This item is technically not for sale, even with a price tag. The Moth Queen will call out to her next guardian from this cloak and this is the best place to find her new guardian.
