Itis's Moon
On the full moon, Itis is at their most balanced between their two worlds; day and night. Still shining with his light of the day, but finding her place in the dark. On this night of peace she watches over the world, and acts as a omnipresent reminder of growth, change and balance.
Execution
Itis's Moon occurs once a month and there is minimal defined ritual around it. Those that are particularly devout may hold small celebrations for the occasion beginning at the first rays of moonlight. These celebrations encourage those who attend to dress as expressively or mundane as you wish, the point it to represent the self you have and self you wish to be. The people gather together, usually with food provided by a temple, and discuss their lives for the last month. Sometimes airing out grievances, speaking through sorrows, sharing tales of joy, contemplation on who they are and if they are happy with it. The point is to truly take the time to think about identity and change with the solace that the Moonchild is supporting you.
Many will bring items with emotions tied to them that they wish to cleanse. The temple designates a specific place, somewhere with constant access to moonlight, and people lay their items as they speak a small prayer to the Moonchild; asking that she be generous and share his fluid nature with them so that they may be able to push past the stagnation that lingers within.
Even the less devoted will often take some small piece of their ceremony for their personal practice; meditating on their identity, leaving old items out in the moonlight with a prayer, having a dinner with friends, ect.
