Ascended Gods
"Ascended Gods are powerful, dangerous individuals. I've never met an Ascended who became a God through benevolence, although it's possible. I guess they just don't have the ambition it takes to gain power for the 'greater good'."
Ascended Gods are a type of god that comes around from Demons or Fae "ascending" to the greater power. Very rare, very dangerous, and very difficult to achieve.
Due to the mass of power required to achieve Ascension, most Ascended Gods tend to be ambitious and ruthless Demons or Fae who decide they want the power at any cost. One example is Alyue, who became an Ascended God through determination and ambition, but Cascaded almost immediately to the mortal realm against their will.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Ascended Gods' appearances vary between each God, much like Sterling Gods and Deities. The only thing in their physiology that constantly links them together as a species is their power status.
Genetics and Reproduction
Ascended Gods are not made through reproduction; any offspring an Ascended God has is classified as a part of their original species, or as a Deity.
