Woods of the temptress
The woods of the temptress. The pride of the south of Is'ykner. The woods hold great properties of magic. Not even the collective will go here as it is forbidden to venture this south without proper orders or rank.
Geography
This forest is fair and lovely. The location is five miles due west of Ogmit.
To the north of the Golden Canopy a river runs into the White-wave sea. The view of the coast from the edge of the woods is visible but minor. To the north-west a mountain pierces the clouds. This mountain is closer to Ka'nir and the halfway mark between the woods and Ka'nir.
Ecosystem Cycles
Like it is in realm prime, the leaves fall from the trees during the colder months and turn orange, red and yellow during the autumn months. The woods of the temptress wax and wane with her. Her magic and age dictate the condition of the woods. When she is utilizing magic the trees begin to sing.
Localized Phenomena
Nature spirits and treants roam these woods, as well as the fair temptress. The treants and Nature spirits will sometimes walk out of the woods to expand them. This is called the shifting soil.
The stars will pierce the canopy and radiate the forest floor with purple and blue light. Reflecting off of the trees and causing minor blindness to those who gaze upon them.
Natural Resources
Wood (oak, ash, elm, and willow) and stone from the southern mountains,
Wild game and spices (corriander, mint, parsley, etc)
History
Legend states that The temptress actually grew these woods out of horrific grief and tragic loss.
Once a small grove, the trees now reach as far as the southern mountains.
