Once a mighty fortified city the elven city of Ilythemar was where western civilization began.
Ilythemar was the centre of elven kind. The city was located on the top of a hill about 100 feet high and 200 feet in diameter. A river ran south of the city winding through the plains and opening out into a large lake.
The city's outer wall was made of marble 3 feet thick entangling the entirety of Ilythemar. The city centre was a grand palace made of fine stones. Stained glass windows and faded brick surround the outside.

Illythemar was once the greatest city of elves and the capital of elder civilization. Knowledge of Illythemar has been widely lost to the ages
Geography
Ilyhthemar is located a few miles from the border between Is'ykner and Quy'orli. Ilyhthemar is located on a hill. Smaller sub districts at the base of the hill surround the elven city. To the north, a river runs southeast to the southern coast.
