Morrigan the Raven

Fey God of War, Victory, Sacrifice, Valkyries, Honor, and Slaughter.
Mortals fight and die, and the raven watches. That is the role of Morrigan, the god of victory, strife, and violence. She is the solemn queen of war, favoring few and having mercy for fewer. In the dawn of all things, Morrigan was created as a god to slay the Devoured Gods and drive them into the Beyond so that creation could commence. It is her duty to stand watch on the veil of existence eternally, ready for when the enemies of the world should return and her Valkyries put to the test. For this purpose, Morrigan fuels the mortal races towards war and endows them with great strength, ascending a select few to join her on the edge of the universe as great Valkyries themselves. Her worship stretches far and wide, from would-be conquerors looking for an edge in their endeavors to frightened refugees escaping their own battles; the god of war is patron of all who are tied to struggle. For in the aftermath of the battle, it is always her ravens that feast on the corpses, and Morrigan who watches and waits.     TENETS OF MORRIGAN: The history of the world is defined by strife. Fight and bleed if you wish to make history. War has no winners, only orphans and widows. But we must fight all the same. Strive to join the eternal war, and ascend to my Valkyr. Do not fight a battle you cannot win. Surrender is preferable to a foolish and pointless death. As the captain should go down with a ship, a commander should fight and die with their army.   SYMBOL OF MORRIGAN: A Bleeding Raven
