The Arcane class type deals with most of the magic in ID Quest. Each Arcane class uses its abilities in different ways. Some use them to damage, others to support others, and some have odd effects that are beneficial. Currently, there are nine Arcane classes. First, there's Mage, a class with the idea of being born with magical power because of your heritage. Then we have the opposite, a Wizard, someone who studied to gain their magic. The third on the list are summoners. They use their magic to make contracts with a summon to help battle. Fourth are Elementalists, who specialize in elemental magic. Then we have Druids who vow to protect nature and or rather versatile. Continuing the versatility train, we have Bards. By channeling their creativity, they can inspire those around them. Next, we have Clerics who get their magic from the gods. Then, following the trend of borrowing powers, Occultists use magical items that have importance to them to fight. Lastly, we have Sigilists—people who have been marked and now use the marking to cast magic. Arcane class types are complicated. Since magic is broad and skills develop differently depending on the person, magical abilities are almost unlimited. Despite this, never make a party of all magic users. Besides balance, no one would be able to take a hit, magic has limited range, and if the enemy is magic resistant, everyone will die. Magic is good when used in moderation, like everything else.
