Da'iji Whisperton

Miss Da'iji Whisperton

Despite what many people think, Da’iji knows quite a lot of things. She knows that you should always be courteous and kind, and act as if each person you meet is going to be critical to your endeavors - her parents taught her that. She knows that her family’s trading business is looking to establish itself as a large-scale establishment, and that her parents and four siblings are all around the continent making that happen. Pretty much her whole life, all she has known is business - her father Ji'kaba grew up in a hard way, and says that all their comforts in life are due to digilent business practices, and her mother Sylvanna's family of entrepreneurial nobles allowed them to take the business to the next step. In fact, every decision her parents have made have been primarily business decisions: moving to Shorvus to tap into a network of local artisans, forming friendships with political leaders in the hopes of encouraging increased transportation infrastructure, even their children were born with ideas of how they might help expand business interests. What Da’iji doesn’t know, however, is if her parents still have plans for her. Amidst growing environmental concerns as they planned trade routes through forests and mountains, they had hired a local druid - a Khajiit named Ha’ami Thorn - to train Da’iji in the hopes that she could effectively become the company’s environmental representative, assuaging concerns that the company did not have the welfare of nature in mind. However, she hasn’t heard from her parents - nor her siblings Fenarro, Elebette, M'desi or Tsavi in quite some time, and she’s starting to worry that she’s no longer in the bigger picture. Which might be for the best, as she’s starting to have some environmental concerns of her own about the company. Still, she’s not really sure what she’s meant to do next, or who to ask. She’s spent the last two years at her family estate, getting regular druid training, and maintaining friendly relationships with the local community. When her family asked her to watch over things until they got back, surely they didn’t mean for this long?

Mental Snapshot - Session 2

//Leaving Shorvus//   Oh god oh god oh god oh god. What the HELL do I do.   Elabette found me and grilled into me about not being home. I thought I was okay going on an adventure but I’m starting to worry I made a huge mistake. But I panicked. She made me come to lunch and I ditched her instead. Now I’m still here with Sheev and Kha’ash. What am I even doing here? I should have never left home. Now I’m just making everybody mad. I feel so alone.   I don’t know how much longer I should stay away. I made a promise to Kha’ash and Sheev but I might have to break it. I already broke a promise with my family, so I guess that’s the only thing I’m good at. I just hope I can do it without them getting mad at me.   The family we stayed with in Shorvus was so nice. They were very generous helping me get some new clothes so I didn’t draw attention. I guess that didn’t work out so great, though. I don’t even know why I was trying to hide. This was fun the first day but when I woke up this morning and I was still in Shorvus, this all just felt so real and weird and scary.   All I want is for all of this to go away. Maybe I should just go home, I’ll wake up tomorrow morning, and it’ll be a brand new day. This will all have been a bad dream or something, or we can all just move on.

Mental Snapshot - Session 1

Leaving the Sadellaren Temple... Ah, fresh air! That was such a strange place. That must have been the first time I've seen a real skeleton before. I'm sure I would have seen one if I ever went on one of T'savi's outings. I wonder if they've been here?   Come to think of it, I think this is one of my first adventures. Ha'ami and my parents would be okay with it, right? Ha'ami's always talking about journeys that he's gone on, and if I want to be a good druid, then I need one of my own - he'll be proud of me, I'm sure. Plus, this is the longest amount of time I've ever been able to spend around Sheev. Maybe if I help him enough, he'd be willing to listen to my parents' offer? I'm doing a good thing here, they'll be happy with me.   I don't know this Kha’ash girl that well. She's from overseas, right? She seems to really want to track down whatever we're looking for. Kha’ash seems as determined to find it as my parents are to run our business, and I'm impressed that someone could care about something just as much as they do. I hope that my parents don't see her as a threat - she seems good-hearted.
