Great Deku Tree
The Great Deku Tree is the direct decendant of the previous Great Deku Tree. That the The Hero of Time met after returning to Kokiri Forest as an adult. Back then the tree was known as "The Deku Sprout". The Sprout wished to not live under his father's literal shadow and had himself uprooted and moved to the forest in the north west of Hyrule, which became the Korok Forest
