Quasi waves are generate about one per day but due to the size of the galaxy it can take centuries for one to hit a specific planet

The hellish region of the galaxy inhabited by the black hole is completely uninhabitable
It has been recorded the some planets hit by quasi waves near the black hole have been completely oblitarated

The power generated by quasi wave are the only know power source capable of powering hyper lanes
History
Mystra has been an active quasar for the last 600 million years
It is suspectied the Mystra is as old as the galaxy itself making it 11 billion years old
Most supermassive black hole have quasars in the begining of there life so Mystra becoming active later in life is quite odd
