However, when he questions the worthiness of a new or existing follower, he subjects them to the daunting Trial of Power.
These trials are tailor-made for each participant and often wager their very souls. Success in the Trial of Power restores Aldrix's favor and reaffirms their bond with him. Failure, however, often results in the loss of both life and soul, as many perish in the trial. All of Aldrix's follows tend to only lose the powers he has provided if they don't follow these requests however those who have been loaned his power can lose any invested soul.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Aldrix is worshiped across multiple planets, with his influence spanning far and wide. On any planet where he is worshipped, you will typically find half a dozen temples dedicated to him, though the majority are still located on his home world of Akcrom.
Due to his significant political power and the influential individuals under his command, Aldrix maintains his preferred power structure with ease. He is not hesitant to enforce his rulings personally when necessary.
His political dominance has earned him "universal envoy status," granting him immunity from all legal actions and solidifying his authority.
Failures & Embarrassments
Although Aldrix’s worship is widespread, he has never achieved a majority in any region where he is venerated. Instead, his followers are typically exceptional individuals within their communities. This has naturally limited the concentration of his worship across various places.
Morality & Philosophy
Aldrix takes his roll as the god of power to be a controler of power, to keep power where it should be. The only revolt shall be of those who held the power before taking back what is theirs. This is a complexe moral philosophy that has sevral layers to it.
Aldrix's teachings show that those corrupt few that horde the power of the many have no real right to it and he reveals that all it take is the many to realise the power they have and what they must do to take it back.
This reflects in the opposite direction, those with real power should not be held down by parasites that seek to limit your potential and take it for themselves. You should and you shall cut off those who hold you back as you have the power too.
