God
Gods stand apart from all other creations, as they alone possess the sacred ability to transmute Souls energy into the mystical force known as Magic.
Basic Information
Genetics and Reproduction
Gods emerge sporadically and unexpectedly, their rarity highlighted by a rough estimate suggesting that, on average, only one God manifests for every 10,000,000 Souls born.
The compatibility of Gods in reproduction with other species is a rare occurrence, yet not entirely unprecedented. Particularly among genetically and reproductively inclined Gods, instances have been recorded where they have sired hundreds, if not thousands, of offspring.
The birth of a new God from the offspring of an existing God has never been documented. Nevertheless, the children of Gods do display similarities in physical traits inherited from their divine progenitors. Certain offspring of Gods have been bestowed with extraordinary abilities that surpass the reach of most evolved species. However, these abilities are not assured, even among divine children sharing the same divine parentage.

Growth Rate & Stages
The origins of Gods vary widely.
While some are born from seemingly ordinary parents, it is common for them to bear little resemblance to their evolved progenitors.
Some Gods manifest directly from the very ground of their home planet, emerging in a manner that distinguishes them from those born of more conventional means.
In rare instances, Gods are said to be able to manifest within pre-existing objects, with even rarer occurrences where they transmute the original object into their new divine form.
The ability of a god to age is wholly dependent on the body they are born into. Some are born fully grown, some as children who mature over time, some remain forever young, while others experience the passage of time, and yet there are those who exist in a timeless state of being

Dietary Needs and Habits
Gods, like all living beings, require sustenance to exist. However, due to their unpredictable and varied forms, their diets are equally diverse and unpredictable. Some Gods may sustain themselves on conventional food, rocks, blood, sunlight, or even the souls of others.
Behaviour
As they do not stem from existing species, their natural behaviors tend to be quite unpredictable. However, a common trait among them is the tendency to view themselves as superior to others. Nevertheless, there are noticeable exceptions to this general behavior, such as the God named Datio
Additional Information
Average Intelligence
While some gods may possess significantly greater intelligence than the average person, they are subject to similar mental constraints as beings that have evolved. Just as a scientist may exhibit exceptional intelligence, gods too may vary in their cognitive abilities
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The natural senses of a specific God vary depending on the body that God inhabits, yet there exist a few senses that are shared by all Gods
All Gods possess the remarkable ability to establish an instant connection with any soul they have come into contact with, irrespective of the distance between them, even between interstellar distances. The connection between a God and souls works in a two-way manner. Anyone who is acquainted with a particular God has the ability to pray to them, instantly communicating any message to the God. However, it is important to note that Gods have complete control over this process. Many Gods, especially the dismissive or popular ones, may choose to ignore prayers that do not originate from specific souls.
Gods also hold the power to perceive any god linked to a soul; they can effortlessly discern the abilities of those gods, granting them insight into the magic a soul possesses at a mere glance
Gods possess the ability to discern when a soul they are linked with commits actions they deem heinous. Many Gods will withhold Magic from those souls they consider unworthy, but they can only perceive a soul's deeds once they have established a connection with it.

Naming Traditions
The true name of a god holds immense power, as it is intricately linked to the magic that defines their being. This significance has compelled many gods to adopt aliases, safeguarding the potency of their true name and the magic it entails
Relationship Ideals
There exist sacred roles that hold immense significance. Among these positions, two stand out as paramount: High Priests and Clerics. The Clerics are revered as bearers of divine wisdom, entrusted to disseminate the teachings of the God like empowered missionaries. On the other hand, the High Priests are the chosen few in whom a God places utmost faith, seeing in them a reflection of their own aspirations and principles. It is through the High Priests that Gods bestow unimaginable power, a testament to the depth of their divine connection.
Common Etiquette Rules
There are 6 generalized God classification. These are too help differentiate what a god does at a glance but is simply a generalization and is not any type of official ruling.
-
Fertility God: This category includes two related types of deities:
- Gods who bestow abilities on unborn creatures or grant parents powers that result in enhanced offspring.
- Gods who permanently transform existing creatures into new forms.
- Healing Gods: This category refers to deities whose primary focus is on healing and enhancing creatures through spells. Gods who grant these powers solely through contracts, empowering individuals rather than providing widespread healing, are typically not classified as Healing Gods. The distinction lies in the god's intent to aid on a larger scale rather than empower select individuals.
- Protector Gods: This category encompasses deities who typically receive mass worship in exchange for the protection of sacred lands or their followers. These gods are often among the most powerful, as they accept tributes without engaging in numerous individual contracts. However, most Protector Gods do empower a select few mortals, usually their high priests, to aid in defending their territories. All Protector Gods have large cult followings, with a low barrier to entry, usually requiring a small soul pledge in exchange for the god's spells and protection.
- Deal Maker Gods: This category includes many of the more sinister deities. These gods exclusively engage in individual contracts with mortals, trading a significant portion, if not all, of the mortal's soul for a powerful boon that lasts as long as the contract is upheld. It's common for these boons to grant devastating power to mortals. Most other types of gods avoid souls bound to Deal Maker Gods, often outright refusing to bestow any magic to them.
- Trickster Gods: This category is for deities specializing in one or both of the following types of magic:
- Illusions: These are independent magical constructs that can involve holographic projections, manipulation of audio vibrations, or harmless distortions of reality.
- Mental Magic: This includes any magic that alters a creature's perception or mind, such as mind reading or magically disrupting senses.
Most Trickster Gods focus on one or both of these types of spells. They are often selective about who they grant their magic to, but typically don't demand much in return.
- Solitary Gods: This category includes many unpredictable deities. Solitary Gods do not seek large cult followings, instead focusing on cultivating their own powers. They rarely engage in contracts, only doing so to serve specific individual purposes. While these gods typically possess the least raw power among all deities, they often refine their magic to such an extent that only Protector Gods or large military forces can challenge them. There has been no recorded instance of a Solitary God being defeated easily or without significant struggle.
